Charlotte Ward established Ward Properties in the year 2000 after ten successful years with another reputable real estate company. Having completed the necessary examinations and study required to elevate her license from sales person status to Broker status, Ward Properties was established in an effort to bring true independent representation to her clients. The independent representation allow Charlotte to successfully use her superior negotiating skills, problem-solving skills and marketing skills to the benefit of her clients.

 

A native of North Carolina, Charlotte settled in Richmond in 1983 after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Charlotte began her successful 17 year real estate career after several years as a Certified Public Accountant. She uses her business background to assist her clients in making good business decisions when buying and selling real estate.

 

Working hard for her clients, Charlotte has been consistently recognized by her professional peers for her outstanding sales production. She was recently awarded the highly regarded "Distinguished Achiever" sales award by the Richmond Association of REALTORS. This marked the 12th year of being recognized for outstanding achievement in sales production for residential real estate sales in the Richmond metropolitan area. In addition to completing the Real Estate Brokerage licensing requirements, representing the highest level of experience and competency for real estate sales in Virginia, Charlotte has also obtained the GRI designation by completing the Virginia REALTOR Institute Program.

 

Charlotte maintains an outstanding relationship with her fellow REALTORS. Recently she was appointed by the President of the Richmond Association of Realtors to serve on the RAR Grievance Committee for the 2007 - 2010 term. This body plays a key role in providing guidance to Richmond Association of Realtor agent members and their clients who have made complaints of ethics violations and arbitration requests.
